Volume for thin hair?

I have really thin shoulder length hair. My problem is- the top of my head is always really flat! I've tried lots of volumizing products, what can I do for more volume?

Use a good mousse, then section the top part of your head and roll each section straight up with a big roller and let it dry. After it's dry, then tease it a little bit before styling it. I read somewhere that this is what Jennifer Aniston does with her hair.

You might have to cut the top a bit shorter than the rest of your hair to take the weight off. The top of the head always has the flatness first, try a root perm in the top, a good stylist will know what a root perm is and how to do it.. good luck...

I have thin hair too....and one product that really worked for me, was the finesse volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Do you blow dry it? If not, I would recomment that.

:o)

begin blow drying by turning your head upside down and drying your roots as they hang down. When roots are dry, spritz them with hairspray and turn back up. Dry the rest of your hair.

so i sorta have the same problem

and i have figured out

that a bit of hair spray never hurt anyone

if you go to the store and buy like any aerosol hair spray

i recommend aerogel

so you do your hair like normal in the morning or whenever

and when your done doing your hair

you like grab a section of hair and sorta fluff it up and then spray it with hairspray

it makes the top of your hair volumized

and it always looks better

also when you get out of the shower

and your blow drying your hair,

blow dry your hair upside down.

it always adds volume

Moose is notorious for giving volume. You could also use a round brush or get a perm.

Don't forget to condition your hair regularly and eat your protein.

If none of the root volumizing products have worked try this. Blow dry your hair upside down by flipping your head over, using a medium to large barrel round brush. Then use a product like Paul Mitchell Spray On Wax, while still flipped over upside down. Then flip your hair back over and finish with a good holding finishing product.

blow dry it with your head upside down.

root boost product works to give lift off scalp do not weigh hair down with gels heavy prducts I find that roost boost and a workable hairspray will do the trick plus turn your head over and blow dry hair upside down adds lift and volume do not use heavy conditioners this will weigh down the hair

To get volume for thin hair try a real good salon hair spray. Also, a styling brush and blow dryer may help add volume too.
