How to have thinner hair?

hi there everyone, I have thick hair %26amp; I want to have less hair, thinner hair. Because i cant put my hair down, I dont think it looks attractive at all. It;s thick %26amp; wavy too. what to do? my sister says to do it, all I need to do is use hair products, because the chemicals will make my hair fall. No way, that will just damage it. I dont want to cut my hair either, I've waited so long for it to grow.

You can have it cut without losing the length of your hair.

When you go to the salon, let them know that you absolutely do not want to lose any length, but you'd like your hair thinned.

They will use one of two things:

1. a razor comb

2. thinning shears (which are just like scissors but with "teeth" on them

and that's really your only option.

As for styling products, use a tiny bit of mousse on wet hair and DO NOT BRUSH IT when it's wet (or dry). Just use a wide toothed comb when you get outta the shower and that's it!!!

well if it's wavy try to staighten it with a flat iron and that should give it a thinner look. it will ralaxe it a bit. and there are some products that help relaxe it and weigh it down without damaging it. see a hairdresser.

you can go to the hairdresser and they have a specific sort of razor that sort of cuts some hair out. You still can have really long hair, or just thins it out. Easy and painless procedure. Good luck!

wash it more often and with a more expensive one. always works. or for better results go to the hairdresses and ask them wat brand of shampoo n conditioner will make your hair thinner and not so wavy. also make sure u ask for one that doenst contain too many chemicals that can make ur hair fall out or damage it more.

Only your hairdresser can help you out. What you want is just to thin out your hair, but you also need to trim it, not more than 1 inch, to clean the end but not taking the lenght off, Be specific on what you want, make sure you tell her or him exactly you want. Problem occurs only, when the hairdresser and the client do not communicate well.
