My hair is falling out and is becoming so thin that you can see through it. What can I do for this?

Are there any foods I can eat, vitamins, or hair products that I can use to thicken my hair and make it healthier again?

My hair is falling out and is becoming so thin that you can see through it. What can I do for this?

For starters try Women to Women vitamins. They are a complete vitamin pack for women (obviously). That might help. Make sure that you're eating healthily (no junk food!) and getting fatty acids.

Don't wash your hair more than once a day and only do it once every other day if it's not to dry or oily.

don't pull it in a pony tail that's to tight and itnstead of brushing it use a wide tooth comb with spray on conditioner in it.

Last but not least ask your doctor.

If you just gave birth, it will grow back, if not, I don't know

you can probably use rogaine

My hair is falling out and is becoming so thin that you can see through it. What can I do for this?

multi vitamins, rogaine, keeping your hair clean is important too...it's prolly the angle in which your hair comes out that causes sebum to create folicle probs so its really not your fault too much....good luck

There is this fiber medicine for that called Folic Acid, it should help, good luck!

I would go and see a doctor and see if something is going on physically within your body that is causing this situation. Good luck to you and God bless

hi. there is this new prduct out that eveyone is using and girl it is good. It is called Dr.Miracle. They have the oil ,hair cream, straight. you name it they got it .If you live St.Thomas go to the number1 bueaty supply store in the mall .THE PRODUCT IS GOOD.

My hair is falling out and is becoming so thin that you can see through it. What can I do for this?

Eat more green vegetables, choose soft comb (while you comb try also message your head) and release stress by exercise.

My hair is falling out and is becoming so thin that you can see through it. What can I do for this?

Sometimes stress or other medical conditions may cause hair loss. Alopecia Areota causes hair loss in spots. I dont think there is a cure for that.

However, scalp massage is good for stimulating the hair folicles, and not pulling or tugging on your hair may help. You may want to get a boar's bristle brush and gently brush with it, as the hair and scalp does need brushing daily.

There are some drugs available for hair loss, such as menoxidill, but I cannot verify whether they actually help or not. You may ask your Medical doctor about it.

Thinning hair is very common among older folks, and those who take lots of medications for a variety of ailments.

Investing in a wig that fits well may not be a bad idea. Cancer patients do it all the time.

Sorry for your delima, no one likes losing their hair. But many of us do. :(

My hair is falling out and is becoming so thin that you can see through it. What can I do for this?

Eat well and sleep well and stay indoors for longer hours in the day. Keep off worries. Take multivitamins on full stomach and avoid alcohol completely and sleeping pills (if used to). Forget hair problem and keep to routine activities that wont require great concentration. You will grow thick and luxurious hair to the envy of others. But it is aksing a lot in life style changes.

My hair is falling out and is becoming so thin that you can see through it. What can I do for this?

I think ur diet lacks vitamin E.Hence eat more fruits and drink lot of water this way all the toxic waste is wasted out.Condition you hair with good conditors. Also check if have any dandruff.Because

drandruff causes hair fall also.

My hair is falling out and is becoming so thin that you can see through it. What can I do for this?

If you are under a lot of stress this can happen, but I would suggest you see a dermatologist in case there's something else going on. Also he might be able to recommend or prescribe you something.

How to treat thinner hair?

just wondering because my hair is getting thinner and i would like to make it more thicker

How to treat thinner hair?

Hair extensions or hair gell.

How to treat thinner hair?

put textureizer (sp?) in it. it makes your hair seem more full and have more texture.

How to treat thinner hair?

Try Rogaine once in a while... that should work. Try not to use it often so your body wouldn't get use to it. A more natural way to cure thinning hair is olive oil. Warm it up and massage it lightly onto your scalp... and wait 30 minutes before you shower.

FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall a lot? Don't worry, you're not alone. Millions of people from all around the world suffer from dry, brittle and weak hair. Some of the possible reasons for falling hair are:

Tension

Too much work

Illness

Poor diet

Over-exposure to the sun

Perming

Amateur bleaching

Too frequent and inexpert use of tints, rinses or other colourants

Here is what you can do to prevent hair fall

Shampoo regularly. Remember, a CLEAN scalp is a HEALTHY SCALP.

Brahmi amla oil also promotes hair growth.

A high protein diet with plenty of fruits, green vegetables and dairy products is a must.

Drink 10-12 glass of water everyday.

Use a very mild shampoo and condition your hair at least twice a week. When you do, make sure you rinse out the conditioner thoroughly, otherwise residue build-up will cause your hair to look limp and dull.

Know your vitamins! IRON is important for healthy hair and brittle, limp hair indicates an iron deficiency. Spinach has a good iron content, so gulp it down!

ZINC helps prevent hair loss and greying. Eat adequate zinc rich foods. Overweight people tend to have zinc deficiency, which is inversely related to the body mass index. Thus if you are overweight and if your hair falls too much, you may want to increase your intake of zinc containing foods. Recipes containing stone ground, wholegrain flour are rich in zinc.

A shortfall in VITAMIN B may cause dandruff, falling hair, loss of colour and could encourage grey hair. So B group Vitamins are essential for gloss, colour and thickness.

VITAMIN C ensures the health of capillaries supplying blood to hair follicles. Make sure your diet includes plenty of fresh fruits and veggies.

VITAMIN E encourages hair growth. Switch from refined flours to wholemeal and wheatgerm, eggs, vegetable oil.

COPPER stops hair from falling. Studies show that the copper content in the blood serum of people with falling hair is less than normal. Different types of alopecia (falling hair) are seen to have a deficiency of this important trace element. Include small quantities of nuts, especially cashews and peanuts, seeds, whole milk and beans in your diet as these contain minute but important amounts of copper.

Homemade remedies for preventing hair fall:

Apply almond oil on scalp and massage.

Grind fenugreek seeds in water and apply on your scalp. Wash off after 40 minutes. Do this every morning for a month 闅哣 if it suits you! Remember, different treatments suit different types of hair.

Massage warm castor oil + almond oil into your scalp gently. Wrap a hot towel around your scalp so it gets absorbed into the hair. Do this twice a week for healthy, shiny hair.

Add 2-3 drops of honey to a glass of water and use this as the last rinse after shampooing.

Quick Hair Care Conditioner

Mix 1 egg, 2 tbs castor oil, 1 tsp vinegar and 1 tsp glycerine. Beat until frothy and massage lightly into your scalp. Wrap your head in a hot towel, steam, then wash off. This conditioner makes hair thicker, shiny, soft and manageable.

Honey Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs (depending on the length of the hair), 1 tsp honey and 2 tsp olive oil. Massage gently into the scalp. Steam, and shampoo after an hour.

Alcohol Conditioner

Beat 1-2 eggs with 2 tsp brandy. Massage into your scalp. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse well. The egg nourishes your hair and brandy stimulates hair growth.

Your hair is a vital beauty asset, requiring constant loving care. And with a little nurturing, lush, glossy hair will be yours.

ESSENTIALS FOR FALLING HAIR -

Does your hair fall often Arm yourself with these tools to combat hair fall.

Wide-toothed comb

Get yourself a wide-toothed comb. This is probably one of the most important yet underutilized of all hair tools. A wide-toothed comb helps you distribute conditioner evenly all over your hair while shampooing and conditioning. In addition, it also helps get rid of knots smoothly.

The best time to get rid of knots is during conditioning. Apply conditioner and run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair.

While untangling dry hair, do so in sections. Take one section at a time, and first, untangle the ends of your hair. Do so slowly, and don?t pull unless you want your hair to fall out in clumps or break.

Don?t wait for the last minute before detangling your hair. Every night, while sitting in front of the television, run a wide toothed comb gently through your hair, until you have untangled it completely. Do this every night, and you will notice that your hair remains free from tangles.

Leave-in conditioner

Dry hair tends to tangle easily, and, needless to say, causes it to break. Make sure your hair is never devoid of moisture by always keeping a bottle of leave-in conditioner handy. The next time you feel your hair is dry and rough to the touch, simply rub a dollop of leave-in conditioner between your palms, and apply it to your hair. Comb through with your wide toothed comb. Your hair will be instantly rejuvenated and moisturized. Gradually, the texture will also improve. This is a must if you blow dry your hair regularly, or if it is chemically treated. Such hair constantly craves moisture, so get yourself a bottle of leave-in conditioner.

Oil

Olive, almond and coconut oils are all excellent for the hair. While you could apply oil as an alternative to leave-in conditioner, oil tends to make your hair sticky, and you cannot style your hair well after applying oil. Your only alternative would then be to tie up your hair. For better results with oil, apply just a few drops immediately after washing your hair, when your hair is still dripping wet. Oil doesn?t penetrate the strands as easily as leave-in conditioner does though. Nothing beats a hot oil massage followed by a steam treatment, as the steam helps the oil penetrate the hair strands, strengthening them and curtailing hair fall.

Egg

Egg is great for the hair ? there are no two ways about it! True, it causes a tremendous stink in the bathroom, and your hair may let off an ?eggy? smell, but the results are instantaneous and worth it! Egg strengthens your hair almost immediately, and the egg yolk leaves your hair shining. Whip an egg with two tablespoons of olive oil and apply it to your hair. Wash off after half an hour. Make sure you wash off with cold water though, or the egg will start cooking in your hair, and would be harder to take off! Use a scented shampoo to counter the smell of egg in your hair, and follow up with a leave-in conditioner. Do this for a month, and you will be amazed by the change in your hair texture and the reduction in hair fall.

What color to dye thinning hair to make look thicker?

i am white male i have diffuse thinning but still enough to make it look like full head of hair. what color would make it appear thicker a darker color or lighter color?

i have natural medium brown hair if i went dark brown or black would it be thicker?%26gt; thanks

What color to dye thinning hair to make look thicker?

A lighter color will make it appear thicker because it will blend more with your scalp. A dark color will make it obvious if your scalp shows through.

Permanent color makes your hair physically thicker. It blows up the cuticle of the hair (the developer forces the cuticle to open) and your hair will look and feel thicker for a few weeks. I color my hair just for the thickening effects.

What color to dye thinning hair to make look thicker?

check out this product called "XFusion" you don't have to dye your hair. Find your matching hair color %26amp; sprinkle it on your head. It really does work; I've seen it. I think you can even order it on line.

What color to dye thinning hair to make look thicker?

Dark brown will make it seem the thickest. Black makes the thinning very visible-as well as blonde. Medium brown is okay.

Hope I helped-

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

Without going to salons

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

If you don't want to go to a salon, let me tell you what I do:

I get a heavy conditioner and apply it halfway down and work it all the way through the ends. Then I go and work a little through the top, but not too much (I don't want my hair to look greasy!) I rinse it out after a couple of minutes--you'll notice that your hair already seems smoother and less full--the conditioner causes the hair folicles to lay smoothly and it takes out some of the body. Then I towel-dry my hair and spray in some de-tangler and serious straightening spray--not too much though, you still want your hair to feel like hair! :) I blow-dry it and finish drying it by straightening it with a ceramic straightener. My hair feels soft, smooth, light, and not "thick" at all. However, this process is so damaging to your hair that I usually only do it for special occasions or if I have a little extra time some day. For a HEALTHY, daily way to make it thinner, I don't have any advice. Sorry!

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

The only way is to cut it.

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

Go to a salon and ask them to thin your hair.........it only takes a few minutes and most hair dressers do it.

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

Go to a salon and ask them to thin it out. Hair straightening with a flat iron also helps make it appear thinner.

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

damaga ur hair is the only way to thinin it which is bad....ur lucky to have thick hair gurls kill for thick hair...don't take somethin specail away from u

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

TOOTHED SCISSORS. BARBERS HAVE IT

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

Meet my mother and converse with her on a regular basis---no bulls**t! Would you like her name, address, %26amp; phone number? She ends up chasing her friends %26amp; family away. My hair is thinning out more and more---against my will. Hey, you won't have to go to a salon!

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

buy thinning scissors and do it yourself

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

FLAT EARN

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

There is probably other ways besides going to a salon but going to a salon is the best choice. Getting layers and asking them to thin your hair with toothed scissors will make it alot thinner.

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

there is this thing called relaxing your hair... and rebonding is another way but cost a lot. search it around...

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

why would u want to thin hair???? just get a new hair style where the thickness wont show so much. cause once u thin it and keep on thinning it by the time u are in 30's, u wont have so much hair

My hair is real thick, how to thin it??

have it layered at a salon...it'll appear thinner

Protein based shampoo for thinning hair and hair loss?

I am a 23 yr old guy and my hair have started thinning and falling out for the past two months or so, i was just wondering if protein based shampoos are any good to sort out this problem? by protein based shampoo i mean something like the one shown in this link .....

http://www.momentumgrooming.com/qs/produ...

any sort of help will be greatly appreciated

Protein based shampoo for thinning hair and hair loss?

Try Nioxin products they work magnificantly on thinning hair.

www.nioxin.com

Just go to the website and find the adequete range for you.

Good Luck!

Protein based shampoo for thinning hair and hair loss?

Angele gave you the right info. I'm older than you and use it, and it works. My wife has a beauty salon and sells it...and rarely gets a customer that comes back and says it won't work.

Hair extensions...?

My beautician said getting permanent extensions would ruin my hair (I have really thin hair), so I'm getting the clip-ins - human extensions.

If you've had clip-in extensions, what's been your experience with them? Are they worth the $300?

Hair extensions...?

jessica simpson put out a clip-in hair extension line, that's WAY cheaper. the synthetic hair is really natural. it's priced by length...

http://www.hairuwear.com/

Hair extensions...?

i have $5000 worth of horse hair. go horse hair trust me.

Hair extensions...?

do not listen to that person do not get horse hair

get human hair

but dont pay $300 for it

look around and make sure you get a light colour so you can dye it to match your hair

clip in extensions are the best

they dont ruin your hair and you can choose to wear them whenever you want

Hair extensions...?

I had clip ins and I got the real thing .. Honestly I hated both the clip ins were just as hard on my hair.

the extensions looked bad after a week even though I had it done by one of the best in the industry.

I was uncomfortable and could barely sleep at night.

After all that I got a wig that drove me nutzz too.

Now I just deal with my thin hair and live comfortably.

If it ever gets too bad when I get older I will wear a bandanna

Hair extensions...?

If you have really thin hair and you want hair extensions, it has been recommended that you use clip in's as its less weight on your hair.

I had one clip in (about 3 inches in width) and cut it to my normal hair length and attached it. It looked pretty real (even though the colour was blue).

But in Australia, clip in's aren't around $300. Usually $90+

Depends where your from and what type of hair it is.

European remy human hair is the best.

Is it possible for a hairstylish to make my hair thinner?

i want my hair to be a lot thinner, can a hairstylish make my hair really thin?

Is it possible for a hairstylish to make my hair thinner?

yes, there are thinning shears and a razor that can be used. razor does a better job, but the hairstylist needs to be strained to use them. thinning shores work well too and any hairstylist should be able to do this for you. i have my hair thinned out every time i go in to get my hair done. they thin out alot out because i have extremely thick hair. you can tell them just how thin you want your hair. i hope this helps.

Is it possible for a hairstylish to make my hair thinner?

Hairstyles can't necessarily make your hair thinner but layering can lessen the weight of your hair making "less thick."

Is it possible for a hairstylish to make my hair thinner?

One way ou can make your hair a ot thinner is by cut some of the hair of in between the surface and the back. It looks really pretty.

Is it possible for a hairstylish to make my hair thinner?

Yes they can. Call around and ask.

Is it possible for a hairstylish to make my hair thinner?

yes it is very possible to do so !!!

they have thinning shears and a tool thats kinda like a razor and they cut the hair with it long ways ( with the razor that is) to thin it out. i have to have that done to my hair as well and so does my husband if he keeps his hair long. if these tools are used and you get a short over long layered style with it it will really thin out your hair and make it easier to deal with and style :)

hope this helped some :)

Is it possible for a hairstylish to make my hair thinner?

Yes they can in two different ways

1. They can layer it

2. They can use thinning scissors. You really don't notice how much they take off %26amp; its great, you can actually run your fingers through your hair afterwards.

Does nair normally make pubic hair come back in thin?

I naired my bikini line and let it grow back in and it came back much thiner than it had been. Just as long just thinner.

Is this normal? Is it soposed to do that?

Does nair normally make pubic hair come back in thin?

yes.

it makes the (i know theres some better word for this but i cant think of it...) hole that your hair grows in smaller.

it actually takes off the top lair of skin when you nair.

it wont do this every time though....your skin will regrow faster than your hair and the folicle (if it was pulled) will become thicker....

it feeld weird that i know this.

Does nair normally make pubic hair come back in thin?

i dont know but thats good right but keep naring

Does nair normally make pubic hair come back in thin?

Nair, veet, thay all seem to do that. Why complain?

kind of pricey, and you have to use the whole line, but its WORTH IT.

Hi any idea on how to prevent hair thinning?

If you find out let me know please.

Hi any idea on how to prevent hair thinning?

You do not want thin hair. Trust me!

Hi any idea on how to prevent hair thinning?

May Rain has products that are very good for thickening your hair, however if premature thinning is hereditary that will not work. You have already did the correct first step and that is discontinuing the chemical processes, however once you stop this you must also do a series of deep conditioners, hot oil treatments (depending on your ethnicity), and regular rejuvenating treatments...and keep the damaged hair cut---the ends. You may also want to seek a professional for the first couple of treatments, but you must find someone who is into hair care--not just styling and processing. It could also be due to medication and the mixture of chemicals/processes you were using---even birth control products

Good luck

Hi any idea on how to prevent hair thinning?

This may or may not be your problem.... I was just diagnosed with PCOS- Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome.... and one of the symptoms of this disease is hair thinning. I also had extremely thick hair most of my life up until the last few years and now it is extremely thin. This probably isn't your problem, but if you are interested look up PCOS and see if you might have some of the other symptoms. Hopefully you don't, but I wanted to share with you my cause of hair thinning.

Hi any idea on how to prevent hair thinning?

NIOXIN!!

seriously look it up, my sister works for the company

Hi any idea on how to prevent hair thinning?

Hi there! I'm a licensed cosmetologist and I'm glad to try to help you. The first thing I would recommend is to go to your family Dr. and have a full blood work up done if you haven't already. It has been my experience that ill health - especially thyroid dysfunction - will cause hair loss frequently. If you stopped using chemicals on your hair two years ago then the hair loss is not because of that. Is the hair falling out from the roots - or breaking off? You can tell by looking at the strands - whether they are as long as your hair or just small pieces. Breakage can be caused by physical problems as well, but can also be from heat damage (dryers, irons, etc...). If the latter is the case, you can try using fermadyol (available at Sally Beauty) - it's a leave in treatment and will say "for damage with breakage" on it. If you are on any medication, this can also cause hair loss. Just go to your Dr. to be sure everything's ok. The nioxin products recommended by someone else are indeed good products. They are also available at beauty supply stores and are much less expensive there. Good luck to you!!!

Hi any idea on how to prevent hair thinning?

highlighting your hair will make it look more thicker and fuller. also there are certain styles that will make your hair look thicker, a hair salon can advise you on this!

Hi any idea on how to prevent hair thinning?

Hi, my hair does this and it still falls out and i am 19. Your not under any stress are you. Because i found that the more stressed out i get the more my hair falls out. I stopped dying my hair and it never fell out for a while, but lately with stress and stuff i have found it to fall out again. I find that using a heat protection spray helps and try massaging your scalp to make your hair grow quicker. I dont use any thickening shampoos on my hair as my hair is thick enought even though it is falling out. But my mum gets it as well and she has tried pantene full and thick it was a lot cheaper than most thickening shampoos for hair. but she now uses New Hair shampoo bar from Lush, it stimulates the hair and makes it thicker, my mum thought it wasnt going to work but when she dried her hair the root lift she got from it was amazing. She wont use out else now, So maybe worth giving it a try.

Also a boots they do a tablet now called nourkin its very expensive like 鎷?0 a box but its suppose to thicken your hair not just at the root all over.

Hi any idea on how to prevent hair thinning?

apply oil on ur hair regularly

Hi any idea on how to prevent hair thinning?

There are some very good herbal products! Check it out in your local drogeries and have a look at www.lush.com.

Hi any idea on how to prevent hair thinning?

Get some professional advice as it may not be as straight forward as that. There are specialist clinics , ask your doctor.

My hair is sooo fine and thin at the scalp because..?

I used to tie it a lot in a pony tail..now it's soo thin and my scalp looks terrible..what can I do to heal it back naturally??

My hair is sooo fine and thin at the scalp because..?

I'm always amazed at some of the answers that people give. I don't think your problem is from a ponytail you have had just like the wives tale about wearing a hat will cause your hair to thin. There are several factors that could be causing the problem. First analyze it more by age, any medication your taking, diet, chemicals done on your hair, products used, pregnancy, general health, season and so on. Then if you determine if any of these are contributing to the problem try changing it and see if there is a difference. If you think it is a serious problem that may be a health factor then I would seek a doctor... MD and they can refer you to a specialist. STRESS is a bad thing in our lives and is blamed for a lot of medical stuff so consider that too. I would not shampoo daily I would every other day if needed and less if it did not need it. DO NOT BLOW DRY it if you can help it because heat is the worst thing on your hair along with pulling it with a brush if you use one. Don't use allot of pressure on the scalp with your fingers when shampooing just a little for some stimulation. Use a shampoo that is a mild cleanser and directed for the scalp...read the label. Speak to you stylist for her educated knowledge and experience with her clients or his, sorry guys, they should be of some kind of help and I hope I have been. Good Luck!

My hair is sooo fine and thin at the scalp because..?

Is it only where the pony used to sit?? I guess if that is the case, I would where it up until it grew in w bit. Not in a pony, since that is what caused the prob in the first place. Try putting bobby pins in. I like to pull up half of my hair (the whole top half) and put pins in it rather than a hair band. It's more comfortable and it looks less childish. That way, no one will see your thinner spot and you'll look cute:)

My hair is sooo fine and thin at the scalp because..?

See a dermatoligist. They will take a look, and possibly do a scalp biopsy... If all else fails, and I know someone that is doing this, then the Hair Club for Men %26amp; Women. Sorry to hear about your problem. Good luck

My hair is sooo fine and thin at the scalp because..?

Some women do go bald I believe there is rogaine for woman try that and from now on it you want you put your hair up use a loose bun not a tight pony tail

My hair is sooo fine and thin at the scalp because..?

Try to dry your hair everytime you wash it and don't tie your hair in a ponytail anymore use placenta and henna shampoo and conditioner to prevent further breakage and hair loss and see a dermotologist you may need some Rogaine. Good Luck.

My hair is sooo fine and thin at the scalp because..?

i would recomend you to try ayurvedicmedcines.....

My hair is sooo fine and thin at the scalp because..?

If your hair is breaking off and it is uneven, try a new look this fall with a shorter cutt and style. that way your hair can grow back correctly and this time you will know exactly what not to do.

My hair is sooo fine and thin at the scalp because..?

The reason the hair is thinning is because you have it in the same hair style to regular, learn to change your hair style daily and allow some fresh hair to pass through, use a herbal and pH balanced shampoo and conditioner for your hair and this will also help for the scalp if it is itchy and dry, you can also try a light grease for your scalp try not to over grease your scalp but divide your hair in four and pass the grease lightly. There is alot of procedures you can do to restore your hair. Here I'll mention some for you: you can braid the hair, use hair vitamins and a professional hair moisturizer for the hair, now that your hair is thin you can also use a pin brush after you grease your hair so that the oil is penetrated completely in the hair and you should steam your hair every two weeks use Castor oil and conditioner and heat it under a shower cap for 1/2 an hour

Pregnancy and Hair Thinning / loss?

is it normal for your hair to go dead thin and to be losing hair durning pregnancy ?

not talking about clumps falling out or bald patchs (YET).... just noticeing lots comeing out !

I know its common to get some hair loss after you've had the baby but im only 26wks preg and already noticeing it start !

Pregnancy and Hair Thinning / loss?

Hair loss that is connected to pregnancy usually occurs after delivery. During pregnancy, an increased number of hairs go into the resting phase, which is part of the normal hair loss cycle. This condition is not serious enough to cause bald spots or permanent hair loss, and should begin to diminish within 3-4 months after delivery. If you feel that you are experiencing unusual hair loss while you are pregnant, this may be due to a vitamin or mineral deficiency.

check this site out

Pregnancy and Hair Thinning / loss?

ye its normal it happened to my cousin

its to do with the hormone changes

Pregnancy and Hair Thinning / loss?

I don't think that's very common, you should probably mention it to your doctor.

Pregnancy and Hair Thinning / loss?

My Dr said it was normal for this to happen because of hormones and so forth. Mine was going thin and I was losing it now its all backand full like before. It just depends on the women also. since none of us are the same

Pregnancy and Hair Thinning / loss?

its totally normal .. i had that at 20 weeks im now 38 weeks and it has stopped but i know that once baby is born it will happen again :( my hair is in such bad condtion atm i have stop puttin products in it and stoped usin heat on it but yet still fell out ... so much for the "pregnancy glow" ur supposed to get lol

Pregnancy and Hair Thinning / loss?

My mom had this when she was pregnant with my older sister. I have not a had a problem with it, but my hair has been extremely dry for the last couple months.

Pregnancy and Hair Thinning / loss?

I noticed tons of hair falling out at around my 9th week and thinning, I was pertrified that I was going to be bald by the time I gave birth by I am now 17 weeks and my hair has stopped falling out and looks healthier than it ever has.

I guess I just started earlier than others lol

Pregnancy and Hair Thinning / loss?

YES I LOST ALOT OF HAIR WITH BOTH OF THE PREGNANCY

Pregnancy and Hair Thinning / loss?

it is very normal it is your hormones as mine just keeps growing i,m guessing it will go bye bye when my son comes out

Pregnancy and Hair Thinning / loss?

I had terrible thinning and loss when i carried my 2nd child, i could run my hands through my hair and pull out handfulls. It's normal to experience such changes and while most of the stories focus on women "glowing" having great hair, skin and nails.......it's not always the case.

Pregnancy and Hair Thinning / loss?

yes that happens to me too and i told me doctor and he sayd there is nothing that u can do about it it's due to the pregnancy and when u give birth ur hair will be back the same

Pregnancy and Hair Thinning / loss?

usually your hair gets thicker during pregnancy due to less hair falling out (thats why alot of women notice their hair falling out after they have had the baby) so this sounds strange, speak to your doctor/midwife you might have a vitamin deficiency or it might just be your hormones, have it checked anyway just incase

IF THIS IS YOUR FIRST TIME USING HAIR COLOR DON'T WORRY! I WOULD RECOMMEND YOU

-SHAMPOO YOUR HAIR WITH A CLARIFYING SHAMPOO

- THEN SHAMPOO A SECOND TIME WITH A MOISTURIZING SHAMPOO

- THEN USE A MOISTURIZING CONDITIONER,APPLY TO THE HAIR AND COMBE THE HAIR FROM THE ENDS TO THE ROOT TO AVOID TANGLES. YOU WILL SHED A LOT OF HAIR DON'T WORRY YOU WILL NEED TO BECAUSE THE HAIR IS DAMAGED. GET A PLASTIC CAP SIT UNDER A HOODED DRYER FOR ABOUT 20 MINUTES TO ALLOW THE CONDITIONER TO PENETRATE THE HAIR SHAFT.

-RINSE THE HAIR THOROUGHLY. GET A LEAVE IN CONDITIONING TREATMENT AS WELL APPLY TO THE HAIR TO HELP WITH TANGLING AND STYLE AS NORMAL. YOU SHOULD BE FINE! IF PROBLEM PERSISTS SEEK A PROFESSIONAL IN YOUR AREA!

I want to know what to do my hair are very thin so i want to know how to make it thinner?

Hey man you seem to be a bit confused there. I bet you want to know how to make your hair thicker, not thinner.

It could be the weather, so keep your system cool.

It could be dandruff use Nizoral Shampoo, it really works.

It could be genetic, look at your father, uncles, grandfathers, you'll get the answer.

It could also be erratic hormones, don't worry they'll soon settle down.

What are the best shampoos to use for thick hair and wanting to thin it?

wow! this is a first. someone actually wanting to make hair thinner. well, I don't know of any shampoo that can help you achieve that. don't even think they make any. but you can ask your hair stylist to chop off some of the excess hair to make it thinner.

and there's this line of hair products by Paul Mitchell, called Super Skinny. they actually claim that the products can make hair stands shrink and appear tighter. I don't know if that can help you.

What are the best shampoos to use for thick hair and wanting to thin it?

go to a solon and dethick it there is no other way

What are the best shampoos to use for thick hair and wanting to thin it?

try garnier frutise it smell really good and it makes your hair shiny and sleek it only costs around 2.00 dollars and you can find it at a local walmart or even a frys i love garnier.

What are the best shampoos to use for thick hair and wanting to thin it?

i think you shouldnt even thin it. i have thick hair and thats a good thing because then your hair wont fall out when your young or anything. but thats just my opinion. dont thin it please.

What are the best shampoos to use for thick hair and wanting to thin it?

G to a salon and ask, or use some of the heavy-duty cholorine shampoo, that strips the thickness out of your hair.

WARNING! If you do you Cholorine shampoo, only use it occasionally, or it will strip your hair.

What are the best shampoos to use for thick hair and wanting to thin it?

If you have a lot of volume in your hair, use a shampoo that is designed to straighten the hair. These shampoos take out a lot of volume and frizz and your hair ends up looking less poofy.

What are the best shampoos to use for thick hair and wanting to thin it?

Check out the Paul Mitchell Super Skinny line of products. I recommend the Shampoo, Daily Treatment (Conditioner), The Serum %26amp; Gloss Drops. These products actually make your hair strands smaller, so your hair appears smoother and softer.

The Shampoo %26amp; Daily Treatment (Condtioner) are pretty self expalinatory, but the Super Skinny Serum goes on the hair while it is wet and it will shrink the hair cutting the dry time by up to 60%. The Gloss Drops go on dry hair to smooth fly-aways. It is a great product to use f you flat iron or curl your hair. It will act as a barrier between your hair and the heat so that you don't do any unecessary damage or over-drying to your hair.

You will need to go to a professional salon to get these products as they are professional grade products. They are priced a bit higher than what you can get at the local drug store, but the extra money is worth it. Enjoy your new hair!

What are the best shampoos to use for thick hair and wanting to thin it?

you cant "thin" your hair. you would have to have it thinned at a salon

My hair is falling and getting thin.is there any solution to stop it?and make it stronger?

Are you taking a good multi-vitamin? theres a good place to start .B-vitamins are very important too as they feed your nervous system, which is often connected to thining hair when under stress. I lost alot of hair last year and started being really good about taking my vit's daily, massaging my scalp daily with my finger tips, as this brought alot of blood circultion to the hair root, and basically "feeds" it with all the bloods nutrients. It worked for me, Im sure it will work for you. I know how upsetting it can be though...hang in there. Hope this helps : )

My hair is falling and getting thin.is there any solution to stop it?and make it stronger?

cut it a little shorter

My hair is falling and getting thin.is there any solution to stop it?and make it stronger?

my wife takes BIOTIN it is supposed to help your hair%26amp; nails.

My hair is falling and getting thin.is there any solution to stop it?and make it stronger?

Could be stress or could be that you need to use extra care.Try some conditioners that don't contain alcohol. Let in stay in for awhile and comb thru it too before you wash it out.

My hair is falling and getting thin.is there any solution to stop it?and make it stronger?

My sister went thru this and the dermatolgist had her cut her hair short so that she didn't keep pulling out more when she washed and cut it. This took the "pressure" off her hair and let it have time to regrow in healthy. She also took a hair and nail vitiman which I don't know the name of but she got it at GNC. her hair is fine now.

My hair is falling and getting thin.is there any solution to stop it?and make it stronger?

I had that problem too. It started when i got pregnant, my hair was falling like crazy i thought i am gonna loose it all. After i had my baby it continues to fall i sometimes will cry, because i see my hair everywhere in the house...i try so many shampoo's conditioners from salon and it didn't help a bit. And i was in the store once looking in the shampoos eyel and i saw new Pantane Pro-v Restoratives, it says that straightens hair and helps 90% from falling, in just one month i thought it's just another shampoo and conditioner that promises same thing. But i bought it and i used it in two weeks my hair stop to fall 44% i would say and in one month my hair stop to fall at all, now i am not afraid to brush it or anything...my answer to your question would be buy new Pantane- Prove Restoratives you can find it anywhere in the store and try there is Shampoo, Contidioner and Cream it might help you too...it's worth try

My hair is falling and getting thin.is there any solution to stop it?and make it stronger?

My hair is falling and getting thin.is there any solution to stop it?and make it stronger?

I just started using the Surge 14 hair revitalizer and some of the other Surge products. My hair stopped falling out within about a week of using these products. Surge doesn't make a conditioner, so I have been using Aphogee's moisturizing conditioner with the Surge shampoo. I also am taking hair and nail vitamins from Vitamin Shoppe. My hair has stopped falling/thinning and is now growing like mad.

My hair is falling and getting thin.is there any solution to stop it?and make it stronger?

Ensure that you eat nutritious food, with plenty of leafy vegetables. Have a soya milk drink and multivitamin tablets if you do not have time to have a healthy breakfast. More remedies at http://hairthinning.org/ will prevent further problems.

Hair thinning all over... still a teen...?

Hi, I'm currently 19/male and my hair started thinning a few months ago I'd say. Now, the way it's thinning is weird -- it's thinning all over my head, not just the crown area or the front. In addition, I still have a small forehead so nothing has receded. The hair is just very thin on the sides and top showing scalp lines when it grows big. I'm pretty sure it's not genetic as my family has quite the amount of hair.

I took a blood test and everything was fine... even TSH (which I thought would be different as I thought I had hypothyroidism). Can anyone help me? If it makes a difference, my eyebrow hairs are also very fragile and a hair piece comes out whenever I rub it. I also noticed a very dull reddish/blondish hair that was sticking out of my eyebrow! Life's not looking to good... I always have to shave my head and wear a hat now. I used to have beautiful, rich coloured silky black hair and now it's gone :(

Thanks.

Hair thinning all over... still a teen...?

The pattern of hair loss that you have described is not necessarily a male pattern baldness. That along with the fact to you are having thinning of the lateral margins of your eyebrow is also indicative of a thyroid problem.

Having a doctor tell you that your labs are "normal" does not necessarily make it so. Doctors that are using outdated standards of TSH from before 2002 have a wider range of "normal." That being said, a diagnosis of hypothyroidism does not need lab work to indicated. Lab analysis is not the end all be all, yet rather should be used more for confirmation for a diagnosis.

Hypothyroidism is a slow progressing disorder in many people. Thinning of the hair is often an initial sign. Why might you ask? If your body is producing low amounts of thyroid hormone, is unable to converted it to an active form, or is unable to utilize the hormone at the receptor level, your body will not be able to regulate its own metabolism in a state that is conducive to survival.

Whenever there is an issue of survival, your body will pick and choose what is most important. Obviously things like your brain and heart are more important to your survival than your hair. This is why your hair might be the first thing to suffer, and then if things progress or continue down the same road you may start to began to see other symptoms such as heart palpitations or memory loss.

I have written an article on problems with your thyroid and fast thinning hair which you can go to at the link below, as well as my blog on treatment for thyroid disorders.

Hopefully this information was helpful.

Hair thinning all over... still a teen...?

ARE YOU TAKING TENSION OF ANYTHING ! see don't wash your hair daily apply good quality cosmetics but you've shaved it now so now it'll grow better ,hair thinning and whitening has nothing to do with your age but you must take suggestions from any skin specialist.........

Hair thinning all over... still a teen...?

Go to a Dermatologist and see if you have a skin disorder, also, perhaps you should speak to someone in the hair industry such as a beautician or barber. They have to learn about hair disorders and scalp, etc. Hope you find your answers there. And don't give up, sometimes the right person takes a while to find, you know the one with real answers to your problems. Also mention to your doctor and or ask a school nurse where you might find help. Some diseases or disorders are characteristically of the nature that you discribe. Minor disorders or injuries usually.. GL find out now. Save yourself some grief..

Hair thinning all over... still a teen...?

I'm sorry to hear that. I really don't know what to say. The only advice I have to offer is to see a doctor and/or hair care specialist. I'm sure everything will be just fine. Good luck!

Trimming hair and thinning hair?

What's the difference between trimming hair and thinning hair?

I don't know if trimming is like cutting your hair, so it is not straight but rather like this VVVVVVV?

Trimming hair and thinning hair?

Trimming hair is taking a little bit off the ends in a straight line. Thinning uses a shears that one side of the shears is jagged. So it only cuts parts of the hair. The vvvvvv is point cutting. That will blend the hair a little more than cutting it straight across.

Trimming hair and thinning hair?

trimming hair is when you cut off a small amount like one inch or so

im not quite sure what you do to thin hair though

Trimming hair and thinning hair?

Trimming is just cutting the edge of your hair to make it neater.

Thinning is well, thinning. The hairstylist takes their sissor and just slices off locks of hair to make your hair less thick. Scared the living heck out of me when my stylist did that. Though she was cutting all my hair off or something.

I recently had a 20 lb ovarian cyst removed, and I wondered if my thinning hair has anything to do w

It was growing for 5 years, and my hair thinned out quite a bit, and I wondered if that's what it was from and when will my hair thicken up again? I only had the one ovary removed. Thanks!

I recently had a 20 lb ovarian cyst removed, and I wondered if my thinning hair has anything to do with it?

Do you have hair thinning in your family history? if it is possible (if you have family you can ask) get info about the genes in that area. I am so sorry to hear about your cyst, that must have been difficult for you with the surgeries and recovery. You may ask your doctor about treatment for the thinning hair to help thicken it back up. If that is hereditary, it will be much better to treat it now. There are many different treatments for thinning hair now. Also, the thinning can be a product of stress, which I am sure you had a lot of. In high school I got small patches where the hair would fall out. I didn't feel stressed but my body reacted to it instead of me being emotional. I hope that helps give you some ideas to talk with your doctor about. Good luck.

I recently had a 20 lb ovarian cyst removed, and I wondered if my thinning hair has anything to do with it?

It could depending on what medicine they put you on afterwards. I had an ovary removed in April of last year because of a cancer cyst on mine. The only thing I could think of is that they put you on medicine that could cause that and you want to look up the side effects to it.

I recently had a 20 lb ovarian cyst removed, and I wondered if my thinning hair has anything to do with it?

Hormone imbalances can cause side effects. A book I was reading about womens' problems indicated that ovarian cysts are likely a result of hormone imbalances. It may be the same hormone that is leading to your thinning hair. If so, just removing an ovary won't bring the hormones into balance.

If you check with an endocrinologist, ask them to determine what your insulin level is. High insulin (pre-cursor condition to diabetes) may cause other hormones to imbalance that leads to thinning hair.

I recently had a 20 lb ovarian cyst removed, and I wondered if my thinning hair has anything to do with it?

Yes! thats one of the symptoms of pcos

How do i make my hair look thinner?

i use the herbal essence shampoo %26amp; conditioner dangerously straight. it makes my hair smoother but not flat. how do i make my hair flatter and less poofy? my hair is layered and the shorter ones always fly up and when i flat iron my hair still looks really big and poofy which is really annoying. i want flat, straight, thin hair.

How do i make my hair look thinner?

Take really really cold showers and let it dry naturally.

How do i make my hair look thinner?

hello there is a new invention it's called the flat earn.... i love chris brown heheheheh!!!!

How do i make my hair look thinner?

try to use a curler brush or lightly curl UNDER the ends of you layers. is your hair dry and poofy a little moisture helps. i usually make sure that i start the flat iron as close to the scalp and pull down. not out. good luck!!

How do i make my hair look thinner?

you can go and have you hair thinned out at a salon or great clips or fantastic sams

How do i make my hair look thinner?

You can use a hair lotion such as pink hair lotion or even try using hair grease. Also layers usually add body to your hair so you may want to grow them out and get an even cut next time.

How do i make my hair look thinner?

My hair is thick to and layered. What I do every morning is get it a little damp and straiten it over and over again. That makes my hair flat.

Homemade hair thinner?

i have short (about 3 inches) hair, its like a golden brown, it gets frizzy and kind of like poofy really easily. i want to know if there is any type of homemade shampoo stuff that will straighten it, make it shinier (not all dull) and thin it out. i think that if i can get it thinner it should be kind of shinier. i want to know things that you KNOW works, like if you have actually used it or a friend or something, thanks.

Homemade hair thinner?

Just go to a salon and have them thin it, thats not something you want to mess with yourself, it could turn out badly

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

lol straighten your hair with a straightener

=]

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

use a straightener

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

w/ a straightener duh閳?br>How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

Get it thinned at a hair stylist's and then straighten it with a good straightener.

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

straighten with straighteners, and get it layered (less thick)

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

if ur hair is not already thin , its nothing you can do . sorry , however you can use a straightener to make it straight

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

straighten your hair! babyliss pro 230 or GHD's are the best ones to buy!

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

well you could always just use a straightener or some straightening product... both can be found at CVS or sometimes better quality stuff can be found at sephora or macys,

still why would you want to change your hair? i know sometimes its nice to mix it up a little but my hair used to be straight and thin, and i HATED it and did everything in my power to change then... eventually it changed as i got older but all the same, a lot of the time you just look best with what you have :D

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

why do you want this? it's disgusting! you want thick, gorgeous wavy glamorous hair!

but if you really want thin hair then get a special shampoo for less frizzy. also, ask your air dresser to 'thin out your hair'. She/he will do this by cutting up your hair at the ends, thus thinning it out.

Try blow drying and straightening your hair and using syrem(sp?) too!

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

straightener or if you want to spend alot of money get it Japanese straightened.. it last for a while and its good.

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

well... go to ur hairdresser and u can get a japanese perm wich is where the relax your hair and make it straight for a good 3 months! you can also get ur hair dresser to thin out ur hair too even layers make it a little thiner

閳?br>How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

Get a Chi straightner.

They are amazing, they make your hair soft and shiny, while straightening your hair!

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

get it layered and ask for the hairdresse persn to do it thinner for you and use a good straightener to make it straight.

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

Use a straightner like a CHI they are expensive but i love mine!

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

Divide your hair into small sections (preferably thin sections, 1-2 inches wide at a time), and use a flat iron to smooth each section.

How do I get my hair really straight and thin?

ive got extremely thick hair as well!

About every 3 months i go to the hairdresser and ask for it to be razored or thinned out.

I then blowdry it straight everytime i wash it and then use a straightner on it.

Having good products are important and my personal preference is GHD, especially when it comes to straightners.

I'm 25 and my hair thinned out bc overdying. Will it thicken back with care and time?

I would dye my hair at home a lot since middle school. Eventually I would see it fall out a lot while dying it. Some people can take years and years of bleach and their hair is fine and strong. I haven't dyed it for a while but my hair is about half the thickness. Before it was considered "thick" now its "thin," thats the difference its gotten to. I also had a time that I did eat unhealthy in college bc of $ but I was happy to loose those freshman pounds so I didn't care. Yet that period of my life was only a few months compared to the years of dying. I DO NOT overprocess, blow dry, or curl my hair. Infact I have never really done that. My thing was simply dying my hair. I want to know, now that I take care of it, will it thicken up? Is there a chance I killed and lost several strands at the root and my hair will now be this thin? I've heard of shaving your head to have it grow back healthy, obviously I don't want to do that, but will cutting myhair really short help?

I'm 25 and my hair thinned out bc overdying. Will it thicken back with care and time?

what's bc? And i have this magazine that says cuting your hair wont make your hair grow faster so save your self before you have to suffer and i have experiene God Bless You!!

I'm 25 and my hair thinned out bc overdying. Will it thicken back with care and time?

Well you answered one question with eating habits. Are you taking any types of medications?? Under alot of stress?? What type of foods do you eat??? Anything you put in your body is in your hair. ( Hince hair for DNA and drug tests :) ..)your hair is made of proteins and such. Get a good hair and nail vitamin to take. Redken and Nioxin makes some you can purchase from a salon. No cutting your hair short or shaving it off will not make it thicker. You only have so many hair follicles in your skin, and thats all the hair you will have...lol...Ole Wives Tale about shaving your head. Just get a good vitamin.

I'm 25 and my hair thinned out bc overdying. Will it thicken back with care and time?

Dove has a lot of shmapoos and conditioners that might help.

I'm 25 and my hair thinned out bc overdying. Will it thicken back with care and time?

Give your hair some time and care. I've been in a similar boat--I dyed my hair at home for about two years, and it really thinned out. I think some people's hair just doesn't tolerate color treatment--mine sure didn't! I wouldn't recommend cutting your hair really short--it will probably just look thinner, and I've never heard of that helping. Just make sure you get it trimmed regularly to get rid of split ends. Use a good conditioner regularly, including a deep conditioning treatment once a week. Eat healthy, and you might consider taking these vitamins: selenium, B12, and flax seed oil. Those all contribute to hair health.

That's what I've been doing, and my hair's stopped falling out. I've talked to docs and nutritionists, and they've told me it will grow back to its original thickness (I used to have really thick hair, like you). So hang in there!

I'm 25 and my hair thinned out bc overdying. Will it thicken back with care and time?

I was checking out your answers because of friend of mine is experiencing the same thing. She called me in tears the other night. You might also want to make sure you don't have a thyroid problem. The doctor thinks hers might be due to a thyroid problem. I took note of the different vitamins that other people were telling you to take. Also she was told to take Biotin.

I'm 25 and my hair thinned out bc overdying. Will it thicken back with care and time?

I have the same problem as you. I make some Investigations and I even went to to a doctor and dermatologist and my problem was that I was taking a medication that was very Strong also my diet was very bad because I was trying to lose some weight, and the only recommendations is to take multivitamins and use a good shampoo, I'm using one that is made of garlic and is been very helpful. I'm 25 and my hair thinned out bc overdying. Will it thicken back with care and time?

Try getting your hair layered

I'm 25 and my hair thinned out bc overdying. Will it thicken back with care and time?

I had really thick hair when I was younger but then it started going thin a few years ago. I now use Dabur Vatika hair oil and leave it on overnight and wash it off in the morning. It has seriously made a huge difference. My hair is really thick again like it used to be.

It can also help your hair grow fast coz my friend had her hair chopped off to shoulder length. She really regretted that and her hair also grows really slow. She started using Dabur vatika hair oil and you should see her hair now...it's sooooo long and gorgeous.

also use neutral henna it makes hair thicker longer and stronger

Question about wavy,thinning hair...?

I have very wavy hair and I have always had a high hairline. When I brush it down it makes my hair line look better but my hair is thinning on the left and right side and because it's so wavy and curly it wont stay down when i brush it down. Anybody have any advice or know products to buy that can help with thinning hair or getting rid of waves and curles? Thanks

Question about wavy,thinning hair...?

"Brushing it down" sounds like you're dangerously close to combover territory. Don't do it. Just don't.

If your hair is thinning, then get it cut shorter. I'm serious. A guy who accepts and embraces the bald is much MUCH more attractive than one who tries to hide it.

Question about wavy,thinning hair...?

Hair is made from protein, so try eating protein rich food and reduce the stress in your daily life. More tips at http://myhair.info

Question about wavy,thinning hair...?

Only brush your hair when necessary. Also buy good shampoo that will bring some nutrients to your hair, a good cheap product is pantein pro-v. To style, buy pomade, that will help hold down your waves and curls without leaving that gross residue that hairgel does. Good luck!

How do i make my hair which is thin, more stronger n silker?

I would suggest using Pantene, a volumizing version. Also, using moose while your hair is still damp helps alot. Oh, and for the silky part, I use the silky and smooth Garnier Fructis. It is fabulous!

How do i make my hair which is thin, more stronger n silker?

use a volumising shampoo like the green Kerastase one

How do i make my hair which is thin, more stronger n silker?

Try the Garnier Fructis Fortifying Shampoo (and Conditioner if wanted) for Fine Hair.

To make your hair smoother try the Garnier Fructis Smoothing Milk.

You should use the same brand of products if you use more than one type of product. They work together becuase they are made by the same company.

You can get both of these at any drug store or at Target or Walmart.

How do i make my hair which is thin, more stronger n silker?

Take a b-vitamin complex at least 3 times per week with about 20-30oz of water.

Also, include walnuts in you diet.

I have long thin face what is the suitable hair style for me ?

The aim would be to make the face appear shorter and wider.

The hair should be styled fairly close to the top of the head with a fringe that has some movement in it i.e curls or waves, combined with fullness at the sides. The length of the face will appear to be reduced. If you have a long thin neck it is best to cover up the neck with soft waves or curls.

Good luck.

Any hairstyle with the fullest part is at your jawline, not the top. Bobs are great on your face shape.

I have long thin face what is the suitable hair style for me ?

All facial features have to be taken into consideration when you want to find the best style for yourself. Not only the faceshape.

Your best option is to try different styles on a digital picture of yourself, with hairstyles software.

Will smoking weed make the hair on my head thin?

You have a rare condition where the weed lowers your resistance to infection..you need to get checked for parasites, as they will eventually infect all hairy areas. They are also carnivorous and can eventually chew your winky down to the bone.

Will smoking weed make the hair on my head thin?

it should'nt bother your hair, but it will make yer brain thin!

Will smoking weed make the hair on my head thin?

weed is a stimulant but also causes damage to brain cells, and to your health. i imagine it wouldnt do much to your hair, but i bet it would in large quantities. too much on anything is bad for you.

Hi my hair started dropping and its become very thin and i used to do ironing alternate days?

i had nice thick curly hair then i bought a hair ironing and i have been using it alternate days from last one year. but recently i can find my hair dropping very badly and i had some viral recently where i took lot of medicines is it because of that i. please do help me i am scared that i will be bald soon.

Hi my hair started dropping and its become very thin and i used to do ironing alternate days?

stop ironing your hair wateva u got from god will look good on you n if you wanna impress someone he/she must like you for who you r n not what u look like n use some alovera n mehendi on it too. it works i had the same prob n now in fine with long n thick hair.

Hi my hair started dropping and its become very thin and i used to do ironing alternate days?

First of all, stop doing anything to your hair, like hot ironing, and go to your doctor. It's probably the medicine you've taken, but it's best to be safe and ask your doc - that way, you can get back to normal sooner.

Hi my hair started dropping and its become very thin and i used to do ironing alternate days?

first thing is to check the side effects of the medicines you took and the ones you are taking..it is only then you can rule out what is the cause...second most likely you took a medicine that canceled out your folic acid..the number one reason hair falls out...you need to take at least 800 mcg of folic acid a day but you can take 1mg..thats better...and start taking 2500 mcg biotin daily...this will stop the hair loss and promote hair growth...stop ironing ur hair and stop processing immediately...good luck i have been there done that from a medicine called Imuran

Have you ever had your hair thinned-out? what does it mean?

hey =)

have any of you ever had your hair thinned out? i have.

what do they actually do to your hair? coz when i got it done i didnt really ask them. do they just cut out random chunks from the underneath/back of your hair? or do they make each and every single strand of hair thinner? or what? also is it bad for your hair?

if you know please can you tell me what it means thanks. and please no answers like it makes it thin. yes i know that.

thanks everyone! x

Have you ever had your hair thinned-out? what does it mean?

I have really thick naturally curly hair and get my hair thinned all the time. The trick is the scissors they use. It has teeth like a comb and is staggered to cut only some hair at one time. It can be used allover the head as much as needed. It is not bad for your hair because it is like having some pieces shorter than others. However, if you get lots of split ends it is harder to find these randomly cut pieces of hair to trim the end off. I still get it done all the time.

Have you ever had your hair thinned-out? what does it mean?

Hahaha.. It makes it thin. Wow, I really hope you don't get those!

Basically when they thin your hair out it's an attempt (like in my case) to take weight out of thick hair or sometimes, one side of hair will grow thicker than the other, so thinning it out is to even out the density of your hair. Hairstylists cut hair, usually with the scissors facing up and cut in wedge chunks to give your hair volume and a look that isn't so weighed down either by naturally thick hair or otherwise. It's not individual strands that are made thinnner but your overal head of hair. It's not bad for you but you want to make sure, if you like the feel, texture and look of it, you maintain it. It's just like layers.

Hopefully this helped!

Have you ever had your hair thinned-out? what does it mean?

when you get your hair thinned, the stylist cuts part of the under layer of your hair. the actual strands of your hair don't actually get thinner, and it is perfectly healthy for your hair. It just involves cutting out parts of your hair to make it appear that you have less. Hope this helps!

Have you ever had your hair thinned-out? what does it mean?

Thinning is when the person cutting your hair snips away a few strands of your hair here and there. It doesn't take out the follicle or chemically change your hair (it's just a pair of scissors), so your hair will become thick again after a few months or so. It's not bad for your hair. You could also just ask the person cutting your hair what exactly he/she's doing to it. Hope this helps!

Have you ever had your hair thinned-out? what does it mean?

Yes... they take shears (scissors w/ ragged edges) and scrape your hair. I love it.

Have you ever had your hair thinned-out? what does it mean?

usually if your hair is really thick or unmanageable some stylists prefer to use texturizing shears. they dont damage your hair but if they go to town and chop away, then it might appear that you have split ends since they have thinned it out too much. but most stylists know what they are doing and wont damage your hair. if you are unhappy i would suggest you tell your hair stylist...its better to be honest than to not tell them at all. i hope this helps

Anyone know anything about thinning hair in females aged 20-25?

I had the same problem. I am currently 25 and my hair was falling out to the point where I would have to sweep the bathroom floor multiple times a day to keep it clean of hair. My problem was the depo-vera shot. It made me depressed and my hair fell out. This stuff is like poison in your body. I had to go on anti-depressants for the depression, and I have now been off of the depo for a year. My hair has stopped falling out, and even seems to have grown back a little. One thing I recommend is that shorter hair looks fuller. I cut my hair and it really made a difference in the look of the fullness.

Also, I had talked to my doctor and my gyno about these problems and they all thought I was nuts. I had blood drawn about 5 times, with all normal readings. I even went to a specialist for my thryoid and they found nothing. It was all the depo!

I teamed up with a chiropractor who specializes in home and herbal remedies and he gave me some pills and a cream that helped get this stuff out of my system. My friend also had similiar problems, but hers also went into her joints from the depo (she was on it much longer than me.) The chiropractor said that this stuff was bad news and got us fixed up. We called it "detox from depo."

Although there are a number of good hair products - such as Rogaine - which actually slow down the process of hair lose. However, in the long run - no matter what you do - your boyfriend will eventually loose his hair.

What do you use to prevent thinning hair?

Try Nioxin. You can buy it in beauty supply stores or at a salon. It was made for chemo patients and then went on the market. But it takes a couple of months to notice the effect. but after that it's like wow. It's pretty expensive though. About $40.00 for the large bottle of the scalp therapy. I use it two or three times a week only because of the price and it works.

What do you use to prevent thinning hair?

There is a shampoo and conditioner that you can get in high end salons called Nioxin. It is usually sold as a package that comes with a foam like substance that actually helps hair growth continue. It's for early stages of balding. It works really well...I know several people who have used it - men and women. It takes approximately a month to see real results but it will help thinning hair to bulk up. Ask a hair dresser about which kind you should buy. They have kinds for regular hair and treated...etc. Like most kinds of shampoo. Try it out - it's a little pricy but if his hair is short like most guys just a dab will work to wash and it lasts months if you use it well. It's worth it though!

What do you use to prevent thinning hair?

Each strand of hair has its own root. Think of it like grass. When you put plastic on grass it stops growing. The hat he wears is stopping the air from getting to the roots. Yes your hair follicle needs the air to keep growing. Also it could be genetic. Does his mothers father have a lot of hair, if not , then he'll probably lose his also.

What would you do if you bought a dog and had him acouple of weeks. His hair was kinda a thin,?

We took him to vet and found out he had two kinds of mange. After 6 weeks off treatment and looking like the dog was gonna die.The dog has gone under horrible skin and fur lose.We went back to the vet for more treatments and possiblemonths of treatment. Also my husband and I both have bites. How could anyone sell a dog loaded with two kinds of tiny spiders for the holiday season. The gift that keeps on giving.

What would you do if you bought a dog and had him acouple of weeks. His hair was kinda a thin,?

sue

What would you do if you bought a dog and had him acouple of weeks. His hair was kinda a thin,?

If the dog is biting you both, then take it back :)

What would you do if you bought a dog and had him acouple of weeks. His hair was kinda a thin,?

Mange is a mite the lives in the hair follicle of the dogs, not a spider. There are two types, sarcoptic and demodetic. The demodetic is much more difficult to get rid of and could take months. The is unfortunate that you and your husband have to go through this. I bought my now 8month old puppy from a breeder and he was fine for a few weeks but then began to lose his hair. I took him to the vet and he had demodetic mange. He was finally given an all clear after 4 months of weekly treatments.

Mange is genetically transfered to the pup from the mother, however most pups have an immune system strong enough to suppress and fend off the mites. Even things like stress and a new home can compromise a dogs immune system.

I would recommend pro biotics, and supplements/vitamins to help boost the pups immune system. Also a high quality diet will help. (Not Iams, Science Diet, etc. These are not high quality foods.) I wish you the best of luck as I know it is a long process.

What would you do if you bought a dog and had him acouple of weeks. His hair was kinda a thin,?

I'm guessing you didn't buy him from a responsible breeder?

It's too bad you're having such a negative experience. Good luck to you with your puppy. :O(

What would you do if you bought a dog and had him acouple of weeks. His hair was kinda a thin,?

First of all didn't you look at the puppy??? Couldn't you tell something was wrong with the puppy at the back yard breeders/puppy mills house??

Before you buy any do you look at the dog, look at its teeth, the skin, part the hair and look at the skin, look for fleas, look in the ears, look at the nails to see if they have been clipped, look at the eyes, the paws, the behind, examine the dog and make sure it is in good health. You ask the breeder plenty of questions and also ask to see ofa results, cerf results, msu results, and also any other genetic test results if they do not have them then do NOT buy because they are irresponsible!!!

You never purchase a dog that has any kind of health problems because you pay in the end.

If you had chosen a reputable breeder the puppy you bought wouldn't have had any kind of mange!!!

Next time instead of going to a back yard breeder/puppy mill find a reputable breeder who takes good care of their dogs, breeds to better the breed, and does genetic testing(ofa, cerf, msu, pennhip ect.).

The breeder you got your dog from was very very bad...

I would never bring a dog home that has mange!! I would have looked at the puppy and if it had a weird coat I would say forget and leave right away!!!

What would you do if you bought a dog and had him acouple of weeks. His hair was kinda a thin,?

If he wasn't losing hair when you "purchased" him then no one would have any need to do a skin scrape. If you "purchased" him with hair lose already starting, why didn't you ask them what it was?

You bought a dog. You gave someone money for a life. What made you think they gave a sh*t about that life? You should only pay for vetting done.

Biting. Come on its a puppy any pup is going to do it get edumacaded on an animal pefore you throw out money to some hilljack for a pet.

What would you do if you bought a dog and had him acouple of weeks. His hair was kinda a thin,?

It's called a backyard breeder or puppy miller. They have no concern for the dogs they sell or the people they sell to. They don't care that lots of dogs they sell will die because they (and their mothers) were not given proper vet care and were likely exposed to lots of diseases and parasites such as sarcoptic mange, parvo, worms, distemper, and many others.

You should not have bought unless you had checked out the breeder. Next time go to a shelter or look on petfinder or go find a reputable breeder. You could report the breeder to animal control if you have their name (even better if you know where they live - another reason to visit the breeder, so if something goes wrong, you know where they are).

Your puppy should make a full recovery. Mange is very treatable, so just hang in there. It will get better.

Added:

Someone above listed two types of mange: Sarcoptic and Demodex. They are correct, but there is also a third, less common, variety: Cheyletiella.
