Question about Thinning hair..?

If my hair is just thinning on one part of my head, (front area) would this be heredity? Or could I still have a hormone or thyroid inbalance??



Need some encouraging and helpful advice! Thanks.



My Dr's appt. is on the 18th.

Low estrogen or low thyroid can cause this problem. Make sure they check both. Once you replace these hormones you should be able to grow hair back.

Usually when hair begins thinning in this way, it is male pattern baldness. This is inherited , usually from your maternal grandfather. One way to determine this link is to look at pictures of or the actual head of this grandfather. If he is bald, you will become bald as well.
