My hair is really thin, but it takes FOREVER to dry. Why?

Light colored hair (blonde, ash, etc.) is thinner than dark hair so you actually have waaaay more of it (I know it doesn't always seem like it). The humidity in your home/environment could also be a factor.

Try a hairdryer on full blast or more intense. If you let it drip dry try keeping it in a towel wrapped up! I think maybe because you put to much conditioner or shampoo in and when you have too much in it makes hair heavier and more thick. Also it takes longer for air to dry conditioner and shampoo and other hair products then to dry water. Just try using less and it may help! %26lt;3

hope it works

(I have the same issue)

Here is what i do... dry your roots first.... running your dryer through your hair like your brushing it.

then section it off and use a vented comb/brush to dry it.

it takes me a total of 5 minutes.

good luck.

Your hair probably holds in a lot of moisture. Which for the most part is a good thing - much better than having dry hair. What you should do to get it to dry faster is leave a towel wrapped on for a while to get the excess moisture out then blow dry or if you want invest in some products that cut down the dry time ( blow dry lotion). I think Big Sexy has a product for that specific problem.

actually if your hair is bleached, which i'm guessing it is... then your hair is very porous, and you have an open cuticle (outside layer of hair) think of your hair as a sponge with alot of holes, it sucks up alot of water and it holds it, so it takes much longer to dry... try using products that reduce your drying time like Quick Slip and Super Skinny Serum by Paul Mitchell
