Do you know of any products for a male with thinning hair? I think Nioxin works well...but we would prefer something as natural as possible! Are any of these things on TV worth trying?

Nioxin doesn't' work if you are loosing your hair due to hereditary, it doesn't alter your hormones or chemical compounds of your hair. Nioxin is a scalp shampoo, it is made to clean out the clogged hair follicles and stimulate them for hair growth, yes it will work on some follicles but if the hair follicle is already dead there will be no result in it. The things on tv may or may not be worth trying, the work for some but don't work for others, its really a gamble. If it isn't hereditary, if he is on thyroid medication or taking something for his thyroid, Nioxin does help a little for that too, not a whole lot, same as if it was hereditary but taking another pill for it probably wouldn't be a good idea.
