As someone with thin, fine, straight hair myself, sometimes it's easy to be envious of those with more body and curls. However, my suggestion is to embrace the your natural attributes...style isn't about just the hair though. Try researching in magazines and online and think about your face shape as well. You can do medium-long with a few long layers to add a little body; top it off with bangs. These can be longer, side sweeping, or go for a little shorter that you can bring forward or take to the side. Or, go for a shorter cut stacked in the back and chin length in the front where the bangs taper into the style.

you can almost go for just about anything. you could do the sidesweep bangs, curle it. I have thin hair myself, but a lot of it, most of the time what i do is just leave it down with the sidesweep bangs and every now and then make the rest of my hair a bit wavyish. you could put it up into a messy bun or something and that looks real good as well.
